Areas of Focus:

Performance physical/mental - My goal is to increase your level of performance ranging from activities of daily living to high level competition. My training programs and expert instruction will give you the physical and mental tools you need to reach your goals. Through intense physical training you will learn KIME, what martial artists refer to as focus and body awareness. Development of internal focus is a psychological edge that you can apply to everyday life challenges as well as athletic endeavors.

Injury prevention/rehab - All programs build iron-clad injury prevention through improved biomechanics, energy economy and increased tissue resilience. Building strength is an integral part, but only one side of injury prevention/rehab training strategies. Beyond physical reinforcements you will learn how to get in touch with your body. Knowing your body is probably the single most effective tool to prevent as well as heal injuries. Injury resilience through body awareness also promotes consistency and longevity of your training process. You will truly get to know your body and learn tangible, yet effective strategies to protect it from injury. What I have learned over my many years of training is that a healthy body performs at its peak.

Body composition - "The form follows the function" is my philosophy when it comes to body composition and weight loss. An athletic appearance is due to an athletic practice. Body composition is directly related to your activity level and dietary status. By correctly modifying these variables, your body must adapt to the new demands placed on it. Depending on your personal goals, we can direct your program for weight loss, gain or maintenance.

Nutrition - Nutrition goes beyond just knowing what and when to eat. In today's busy lifestyle, dietary preparation is necessary when it comes to eating correctly. I will teach you how to shop, save time and prepare food to eat like a professional no matter how busy your life style is. Sound nutrition practice is the foundation of health and performance. In my experience, dietary changes are hard to adhere to and can be overwhelming for some. My objective is to integrate sound nutritional practices into your lifestyle in a progressive way just like the exercise.
